What is the difference between a Feather Flag and a Swooper Flag?
Swooper Flag uses movement to attract attention, and suited for larger letters or images. A Feather Flag requires no wind, and is better suited for smaller letters and detailed images
How long will my Custom Flag last?
There are a lot of influences that affect the life of your custom Flag that include- Proper Installation, Weather, Wind & Direct Sunlight. Our Custom Flags are well suited for long term outdoor use, but as with most flags they are NOT designed for use in high winds. For best results flags should be taken inside during severe weather or high winds. Custom Flags exposed to harsh weather conditions can result in a short life span of around 6 months, where a flag that is taken care of can last a year or more.
What hardware mount do I need?
We offer several types of mounts that go with our poles. Please be sure to choose the correct mount. Below is information regarding the different poles and mounts to help you make an informed decision.
Standard Swooper Flag Hardware-
The standard Swooper Flag set comes with a Pole and Ground Stake which allows you to install the flag anywhere you can drive the stake into the ground.
Standard Feather & Teardrop Flag Hardware-
The standard Feather and Teardrop Flag set comes with a Pole and Ground Stake which allows you to install the flag anywhere you can drive the stake into the ground.
Optional Feather & Teardrop Flag Hardware-
Please note these mounts are not available for the Swooper Flag If you are displaying your Custom Flag where you are unable to drive a ground stake, we offer the X-Mount & Square base. In some cases you may need a counterweight to stabilize the flag. We offer the X-Mount Water Bag as one option for weighing the base/mount down, or you can use sand bags you supply.
